Your data is stored securely on the Base44 platform with industry-standard encryption and access controls. Strava access tokens are stored securely and refreshed automatically. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account through the App, your profile data, running statistics, and badge records will be permanently removed.

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using The Burden Run ("the App"), operated by The One Percent (a brand by Elad Cohen, based in Las Vegas, NV), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. By connecting your Strava account, you authorize us to access your running activity data as described in our Privacy Policy . You may disconnect your Strava account or delete your profile at any time through the App.

The One Percent reserves the right to disqualify any participant, hide their profile from the leaderboard, or revoke badges and rewards at its sole discretion if any rule violation is suspected. Disqualified users will be notified through the App. Decisions regarding disqualification are final.

All content, branding, designs, and materials on the App are the property of The One Percent. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without written permission. User-submitted content (display names, bios, shoutouts) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it within the App.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The One Percent is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to: data loss, service interruptions, inaccurate rankings, or inability to claim rewards. Participation in The Burden Run is voluntary and at your own risk. Running and physical activity carry inherent risks — consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
